The greatest invention that I believe has had tremendous impact on our society and world today is Apple’s product; iPods. Apple iPod is a portable media player designed and marketed by Apple and launched on October 23, 2001. The fourth generation that has a camera on it just came out 3 weeks ago. Then they came out with the Ipad3.2 on April, 2010. First iPhone 3G was introduced on 2007. Iphone 4G was introduced on August 2010.
How have iPods changed our lives? Before iPod was introduced, music only can be listening on the radio or TV. But with iPods, we can download music to iPod and carry it around without carry a radio. IPod is small, easy to carry, and has the maximum 48 hours of music playback. According to PC World, they said that iPod line has "altered the landscape for portable audio players”. So basically iPod replace CDs and DVDs.
With more improvement on iPod and iPhone, we can surf the internet whenever you are. You can talk to your friends at any time and any place. Life becomes more convenient. You can check your bank account on your iPhone; you can use iPhone’s GPS without buying a $100 GPS. You can watch videos online, or play games just on a simple device; iPods.
IPods are better than computer because you can’t carry a computer around but you can carry an IPod. So iPods are the greatest invention of 21st century. It made life more convenient, and you can have fun playing millions of millions games on it. So why don’t you try it?
